Carbone's Market - Torrington

I don’t care what anyone else says about Carbone's Market; it's the best spot in town for grinders and lunch meats. They’re the only place around that carries my favorite Weaver chicken breast. We absolutely love this place—everyone is very friendly, including the owners. We miss Tony and Carol, but they've successfully maintained the Carbone tradition.

Stellar italian combo grinder. My italian Poppy took me here, citing the legendary grinders! Well, it did not disappoint. You're going loads of meat, fresh bread, delicious and fresh toppings these sangwhiches are so packed you might just crack your jaw trying to get your mouth around it. However, so long as you're not in too much pain to close your mouth and commence chewing, you will relish the pain of gaping your mouth wide enough for each tantalizing bite.

I love Carbone's and hope they're around for many more years to come. You can't get grinders like theirs anywhere in the area and their hot foods are delicious too

This is, without a doubt, the best Italian sausage, peppers, and cheese hot grinder I've ever had. The homemade sausage and marinara sauce were exceptional. When I come back from Georgia in the fall, I plan to eat here multiple times. Bravo!

100/5 stars! This is the best place to get an incredible sandwich in Torrington and the nearby areas. They also have some unique grocery items that you won’t typically find in other stores, such as Humpty Dumpty chips and a variety of Martin's breads. I highly recommend it!
