Also the dessert was too good to be true! We ate some kind of lava chocolate cake!! You can get a very good wine for a good price. Barbera d'alba is an excellent wine for a good price.
We passed by Tortona and found this lovely place. The waiter was very friendly and translated the whole menue in an absolute fab way. The food, the atmosphere and the wine was just splendid. When I pass by tortona I will for sure stay for a dinner at the Vineria.
We had very good ravioli. Waiters are nice. We didn’t wait a long time. The restaurant has a very selection of wine
A place to return to. Very characteristic atmosphere, a vast choice of wine, a most hospitable host that explains whatever is in the menu and how it's made with all the patience. Fast service and welcoming place. Typical Piedmont food served in a very refined and exquisite manner. Ideal choice either for couple or groups, business dinners or friends reunions.
My husband's family lives nearby (I am American and I have been cursed with a MIL who is a TERRIBLE cook. The Vineria is an oasis. The food is amazing. The wine is sublime and I get to see how local specialties should taste like, rather the abominations Paolo's mother produces. We actually plan our visits around the Vineria's schedule as they are closed on Mondays. :
