La Cosina Mexicana - Town of Queensbury

The food was decent. Not over spicing as it is on the menu. Maybe I like my Mexican food with a little bit more bites. We had apps and 4 meals. The Burritos were 4 small packages that looked exactly like the Enchiladas. The Carne Asada was good. Arta Bland. I wanted to give him 5 stars and probably go back, but I need more spices.

Small little place where we stumbled. The food was great and the staff was friendly. The service was great! Would recommend my son and friends.

This place is so small that if you blink, you'll miss it. My wife and I started our date night here because we miss the authentic Mexican food we enjoyed in California. The warm, fresh made corn tortilla chips with salsa were very good. As an appetizer, we got the guacamole, which was decent. It could have used some more lime juice, but it was still a greater starter with those chips. For entrees, we got the Steak Ranchero and the Pollo Mole Poblano. It says on their menu that food is not prepared to be spicy but can be prepared this way if you want. We both got ours spicy. The shell steak was not as tender as I had hoped, and there were a few pieces that were just fat. The chicken, on the other hand, was amazing. Regardless of your experience with authentic Mexican food, the place is worth a visit. The service was very good, with a rotation of 3 people making sure we were happy.

Beautiful and cozy place for authentic Mexican cuisine. The flavors of salsa is really good. The salsa had some raw onions and Cilantro gives only a real kick, we went for the second serving salsa. All fresh. We ordered chicken enchilada and chicken phajitas were both good.

Food . delicious..the service was a tad slow but WELL worth it...
