Newmarket Steak House Bar & Grill

I love it when a pub nails the menu! The Newmarket has the trifecta - delicious meals, great atmosphere and warm, friendly staff. It was our favourite night out when we were in Townsville last week.

Excellent food & drinks, provides something a little bit different in a great atmosphere!! Food is tasty & some spicy options, great cocktail making skills also!!The hosts have showcased some excellent bands I hope this continues A very welcoming venue, love the wine bar & sports bar too...I'll be back!

Mid week dinner with a group of work colleagues. Large good quality meals that are freshly prepared. Meals came out quickly and were very tasty! Small wine selection and something they could work on improving - aside from that a nice atmosphere and hope they continue to do well - check it out.

So the staff were friendly and attentive had a good chat with the bloke at the bar and it was so affordable 2 glasses of wine and dinner only $80.Sadly it was a quiet night i hope they pick up more business because waited 2-3 min for entree and about the same for mains. So really happy with service, food was great and presented well, take my hat off to the chefs tonight. Wont let me put a photo up of the menu but it was great and they even let me swap some sauces.

Great pub with something for everyone. Lots of different styles of spaces from the great sports bar to the wine bar or the garden bar. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. Definitely recommend the 'Amazballs' and the duck shanks. It would be a great place for functions too.
