Bidra med feedbackSuki is a fresh new reasturant in Townsville. It's best described as a Subway for Japanese/Australian fusion food. The overall atmosphere of the store is viabrant and modern however the layout causes some problems when it's busy, as where you start ordering is in a corner. The staff where friendly and still appeared to be learning the ropes but this is expected as it only opened this week. The food is fresh and tastes good however is a bit expensive for what you get, even the large wasn't very large. It's a very Australian twist on Japanese food with bowls and sushi burritos which is interesting but I would ultimately still choose to dine at a sushi reasturant if I had the choice. Overall Suki is a new fusion reasturant to try in Townsville, it's a bit expensive, however the ingredients we're fresh so I'm not going to complain to much. It's got some things to sort out however it's setting itself up to be a decent lunch option at Fairfield central.
A wonderful new addition to what to eat in one of the best places in the city. Suki takes a fresh approach to sushi with its wraps and bowls, the wraps essentially very large sushi rolls. But the bowls... I'm excited now. The bowls take the whole taste and texture of sushi and create a lightly planted food. The rice is easy to be without stodgie and blends perfectly with your selected meat, then choose your sauce that is used to mix your salad choice. This fleshy rice with saucy salad mix creates what was the unknown sushi experience I never knew I needed so desperately. I recommend the attempt of the bowl, whether it is for you, I cannot say. But I honestly didn't expect me to come so satisfied when I ordered, and I hope some of you will know that.
Tried Suki in the CBD for the first time, had a gym sesh seaweed wrap and it was both healthy and delicious!
Food was awesome, tasted it fresh and delicious. Unfortunately service was slow and staff can improve their customer service. Please remember having tap water for customers is compulsory. Thanks
Food was decent, staff is a whole different story. Took 15 minutes to get a take away sushi burrito, which I had to repeat the ingredients I wanted and point out twice on two occasions where they were located for the staff members. No sense of urgency with a line up of 5 customers. 6 staff working but at a snail's pace. Had to stop them from rolling it up to remind them to add the garnish I asked for, after they put a different garnish on which I didn't ask for. Could have jumped over the counter and made it myself in 2 minutes. Train your staff before they start. And teach them to smile.
