The Balcony Restaurant - Townsville

Breakfast upstairs on the balcony at The Balcony was quite nice and relaxing, breezy at times but not uncomfortably so. Tried the Vegetarian pancakes with a rocket/parmesan/macadamia nut salad, quite different option from regular eggs and Bacon, but I left that to my partner!! Fresh juice options also available.

Menu is extensive, but no basic options. I personally found the menu rather expensive in comparison to other breakfast menus. We waited a long time when there were few people at the restaurant & were served after people who ordered after us. I didn't really enjoy my meal unfortunately of the eggs Benny. View is nice.

This place is in the prime spot and it's so funky and cute! Coffee is delicious and the food is probably the best I've had in a long time! The waitress that looked after us was amazing and I would rate 5/5 just for her service if I could! I love this place!

Wanted to try the Bacon Chop breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Tasted great and very filling. Staff were great too.

I can't recommend this place enough, possibly one of the best places we had breakfast our whole trip. Really friendly staff, and relaxed happy atmosphere. We highly recommend the poached pear and eggs Benedict!
