The Seaview Hotel - Townsville

Had lunch in the seaview Wednesday 28/12/22, beautiful sea breeze and much shadow, we sat in front, renovations look great. 2 x chicken parole and 2 x fish chips and salat, we all felt that it was cooked as a bit dry, but. representation was good. place was packed and long wait in the line to order food, but get quite fast to eat, to take into consideration. the personal must have been tired and worked over as though efficient, good customer service was not available as smiles, greets or thank you.

For lunch with the extended family. they were pretty busy so we expected to wait a bit for our food no problem as they have cold beer. a party in our group got their meal in. good time and then after something cute was asked and was told it was not available because they were very busy. Really? After 90 min we had not yet our order, and the answer, as was asked, was very rude and short with the apology that they were very busy, despite many groups that ordered after us to get their meal in the half of the time. very disappointed by the service and then the meals themselves were quite average chickenburger overcooked, along with a chicken parmigiana. so overall no great culinary experience.

Very disappointing. for lunch with hubby. they have a sign on the board that says that the kitchen lets know if they have any allergies. I am allergic to garlic and asked what would be safe for me to eat. the coworker who commanded...when and asked the cook, and returned to tell me that the boil refused to guarantee that everything he would make for me would be garlauch free. the first time that has ever happened, in the regular chefs will go out of the way to prepare something, even if it is an salate or a steak. Hubby had chickenburgers who were cooked enough. very usual he said. fortunately forging chips were for me on the hand

We went to a typical pub for dinner. My husband ordered a medium rare steak and I ordered barramundi. Unfortunately, the steak was overcooked and tough, and the barramundi was cold. When I mentioned that my meal was cold, I was told they could cook another one but I would be charged for it. Seriously? I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

Ordered a medium porterhouse steak and received a rare steak filled with fat and veins. Had soggy chips as well. Dog enjoyed it though.
