Bidra med feedbackAfter arriving in Tralee, we were initially looking for another restaurant to eat at for lunch, but it was nowhere to be found in the cute, quaint downtown area. So, we decided to pop into Quinlan's Fish for a quick bite. Fish and (Real) Chips: the fish was perfectly fried, so tender and juicy, and it wasn't overly fried or greasy like many others in the US. Seafood Chowder: I thoroughly enjoyed the chowder. It was packed full of cubes of different types of fish, so you definitely get a lot for what you pay. Service was great, and it was the perfect spot for a quick lunch stop.
Thanks lads, you're lifesavers! My wife and I arrived in Tralee and went out late for dinner. We'd heard about Quinlan's and it was only a couple of minutes from where we were staying so we thought we'd swing by. As it turned out, we arrived just before closing, but the lads were happy to have us and seemed in no hurry to move us on. The food was great and reasonably priced, so believe the hype!
Delicious !! Will definitely be buying again ! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
Nice fish but it is very disappointing to see Quinlans sponsor the Puck Fair event that entails suspending a goat, 20 feet in the air in a metal cage during a heatwave. The temperatures will exceed 30c and goat will remain there for nearly 3days.
The fish and chips were delicious. You have a choice of fish. I had the haddock. It was meaty and flaky. The coating was just the right amount and it wasn't greasy. The chips were crispy. The tartar sauce was yummy too. Such a great find in the sweet little town center of Tra Li
