Sushi Yama - TRAVELERS REST

What a fabulous experience we had here. The Furman wall was as delicious as the California roll with cream cheese and the garden salad with ginger dressing. Jenn was a big server and was very tentative. Loved the glass straws for our water and soda, as well as the top calculation on the bill. It was very helpful. Can't wait to come back!

I tried this place. Word of mouth. Very recommended. Nice little restaurant. Really loud. Nothing special. Small menu. I was really not impressed. Good? Taste, good. Not in my Top 5 Sushi Spots. The service was the best part.

Another great experience at Sushi Yama TR! We sat outside and enjoyed an evening with great food served by Quinn who was a fantastic server (she was really, I want Quinn?s dad to know! Fresh, delicious and beautiful coating, as always???

We sat outside and their terrace was perfect for the beautiful weather. I tried the hardy shrouts, vegetables and shrimp tempura and brussel sprouts. They all came out fast and hot. Sushi was plated so pretty and I enjoyed everything I had. My husband said the nigger tasted all too fishy so he didn't enjoy it very much. It seems strange to say that the fish was too fishy, but I would definitely go again. A random thing I liked was her blue, glass straws. I don't know why, but that?

Came in after I read a bunch of reviews and I was super happy with the service. The menu has a little bit of everything on it (except maybe soup), but the atmosphere is super welcoming AND the lady at the front helping me with my to-go order was amazing! She explained everything in detail and was super patient with me while I tried to figure out everything over the phone with some friends I was ordering for. Nearly every booth and table was filled with groups of people. I can absolutely tell why this is such a popular place to eat. Even my friend who lives here was raving about the food once he realized I was headed to the restaurant. You gotta try it!
