Candle Light Events - Trenton

This really is one of Trenton's best kept secrets and I do not go enough. On Thursday night you pay $5 for cover entry to blues jam and really jazz jam that comes with a small food treat. Enjoy a drink or two and world class music. The cover is $20 on Saturday with more extensive food options.

Eventually this place checked on a Thursday night for our date night. First, the mood is so cold. The bartender we quickly recognized was the owner came by and entertained with us. Next we know he's on the Sax! Another bartender takes over his wife lol aka. Don't forget to mention her food! You want a cool date night or out with friends you need to visit this place! We will definitely be back!!

You will not be disappointed if you are truly a music fan of real jazz, just because it’s not the legionary Blue Note of NY. That doesn’t mean that miles Davis’s spirit or Thelonious Monk or Charlie Parker won’t be at the bar listening. Aside from the lighting which will be upgraded soon, the people are the main ingredient to the life expansion to the historic mass attraction of musical excellence, so much so that the present generation sits in with the season veteran of yesterday and let me tell you that for me. It was the meeting of Berkeley and Juilliard. Absolutely powerful but don’t take my word for it. Get there……

Really enjoyed the Thursday night Jazz performance.. Cover charge is $5 comes with a nice buffet and the music was really good. Great crowd and a very nice spot.

My husband and I drove a long distance because of few of his friends were playing in the band at this venue from NY. When we got there it there was only 30 min left of the show yet they tried to charge us $20 a piece to get in (Mind you there were no tables or nothing to eat). I’m sure the talent they book is amazing, but the greeters at the front were so rude I didn’t want to even go in. I visit many places and I’m disappointed in the service we received. Instead of receiving some money just to let us stand in the back, they received no money and a bad review!
