Bidra med feedbackI and my husband were here for a quick happen. my man ordered a berliner and I ordered a cup of hot chocolate. the hot chocolate was really nice and my man also enjoyed his berliner. if they are in triberg and looking for a bakery close to, I would definitely recommend to them to look past the bakery conditorei cafe krachenfels.
Perfect for breakfast or coffee on the morning. let the Marzipan snowball stumble. directly next to the Rathaus
I wish I had not entered: the coffee is terrible (the worst I had here in Germany) cakes are ok, but I expected a bakery something better ... and don't expect the waitress to speak English, I almost believed, she doesn't speak German anymore!
We stopped here on a Sunday in the early afternoon on our journey through the Black Forest 2015. the place looked good from the outside, so we went in. this is a filial of a chain that says it has about 40 filials. this could carry a renovation, the leather on the bank along the wall was torn and broken. the whole caffe had a coworker with customer contact and about 10-15 customers in it. the one employee was somewhat overwhelmed by the number of customers. there were a few sandwiches exhibited and we ordered two sorts. a type was sold out. So we all went to what they had (carved bread) it turned out that it was frozen meat, which was warmed up in a pizza oven, and so it tasted. I ordered mine with ketchup and got curry sauce served. the black forests cherry cake looked like a machine had made it (and the machine had to be adjusted a bit) parts of it were extremely cold, so it was likely to have been thawed up recently. positiw is that orange juice was freshly pressed before our eyes and even brought to our table (this is a place where they order at the theke.) also the tee (tee bag ringel flower from homebs) was very delicious. Moreover, this visit cost about 25 euro (sandwich main dish with water / juice and each one piece of cake with coffee), so we got it for what we paid for.
We got a couple of sandwiches for lunch and were served by a young woman who looked out and was acting like she'd rather be somewhere else than help us. the sandwiches were very cheap and tasted good for a quick take along, but we had during our travel in Germany in many other bakeries much better service and better tasting and qualitatiw high quality food.
