Mai-Wok - Trier

There is no good category so I 'm using the three stars. I have to give this restaurant high marks for putting up with our group, which spoke only a little German (me), with members with no English either. The owner was very patient while we took ten minutes to go through the menu, discuss it, etc. I joked with our troop that Mai was going to think we were his new best friends, since we were here three days in a row; twice for lunch, and once for take-out. All the above notwithstanding, we had some good pho here, and some duck dishes that were crazy good, as in not expecting this. Mai tends toward Vietnamese dishes, but everything we had here was good. I also had draft beers during the two lunches, so I was happy too (but nobody else in our group was drinking). Thanks for your patience Mr. Mai. His team also had a good sense of humor and no one lost patience with us. Bon appetit!

On rainy day in September, I had my first meal at this place. Service was professional, meal was tasty and location is very central. I will be back.

I took the Chicken peanut sauce wok to go. The sauce was very liauid with way too much water and without any taste. The price was around 6 euro, which looks like cheap, but it is not, concerning the amount of chicken. The staff was also not friendly and quite rude. Very disapointing !

Great food! Have had 3 main dishes and always the nam! Great price! Good service! Delicious food! How can they make such great, fresh food for such a good price!

Just passing through Trier trying to find a good place for lunch. Stopped in and thuroughly enjoyed every last bit. Food/ service/prices you get it all here.
