Bidra med feedbackWe were having dinner with a couple of friends Tuesday, June 14, 2022, the location is to be filled breathless. the owner of the room, very kind and helpful, we served a pasta with delicious rock, cooked to the tooth and seasoned. according to a cernia with potatoes and tomatoes to lick the mustache and finish the seadas with honey. All drowned with a couple of bottles of vermentino. we will definitely return as soon as possible. absolutely to recommend.
Will be the pandemic and the obligations imposed, but we look forward to returning to the Sardinian and reopen our favorite restaurant. wonderful to find friendliness, smiles, competence and quality in every plate and glass. beyond the breathtaking location.
Great, fresh fish, harmony and the sea in front!
The view here is worth the trip alone. We came at the recommendation of our Airbnb Host, from Porto Pollo, stopped on our way back from Castelsardo. It was a WINDY, but very lovely experience. The view is to die for, for watching the sunset over the ocean. Their seafood was very good. Very fresh mussels and fish. I had the sea urchin pasta, and my husband the mixed seafood spaghetti. The staff was very nice, although very little English spoken- but they do have a menu in English. For the two of us and a liter of wine it was $48 Euro (two primi, one mussle antipasto, traditional Sardinian flatbread, water). There were several families there when we showed up at about 8:30, and it would be a great place for a family with kids or a group of friends. Out of the way, but again, the view was spectacular and the drive down to the bay breathtaking..
We decided to make a dinner reservation for La Cala after seeig how packed it was on the two times we passed by on our way back home from the beach. We had appetizer, pasta, one portion of baked fish with potatoes and house wine. The appetizer was pasta was a disappointment, both the sea urchin spaghetti (pasta al riccio di mare) and the spaghetti allo scoglio were bland and tasteless. To our relief the fish with roasted potatoes was very good (the fish was fresh and well cooked) otherwise it would have been a forgettable night. We skipped the dessert. Service is fast and attentive. Pay attention to specifically ask the waiter for the menu, it's not given unless you asked for it. The waiter just verbally tells the options, obviously without disclosing the price and at the end of the night you feel like you've been ripped off (the bill doens't describe the dishes and price). The view of the sunset is spectacular but the food is not worth the money spent.
