Excellent food and location by the sea. Good value and friendly service. Try to get a table on the sea wall for views over sea and fishing boats.

Our favourite restaurant on kovalam beach. Sitting on the wall enjoying lunch and dinner as the waves crash on the beach next to you is great fun. In addition the food was very good. Large tasty portions and a very friendly helpful manager. Highly recommended.

We recently spent a fantastic month staying in the accommodation at 3rd Rock, located right above the restaurant. The Studio Apartment, managed by Sulekha, was impeccable and had everything we needed for our extended stay. We hardly cooked for ourselves because the restaurant downstairs made dining out effortless. The food was delicious as always, and the service provided by Saj and the rest of the team was top-notch. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and one of the best in Kovalam.

A great position sitting on the rocks eating directly over the waves lapping onto the sea! Bit dark by the time we were there but the food was truly delicious served by the friendly Raj, and very reasonably priced! Would thoroughly recommend a visit here, is bit further out but easy on a tuk tuk!

The sea wall is a unique experience and an amazing place to eat.Saj and his staff will make you very welcome and the food is always excellent probably the best Kerala fish fry in my five week stay. You cannot leave Kovalam without experiencing dining on the sea wall and 3rd Rock would be a great choice
