Bidra med feedbackAt the suggestion of one of the owners, Danny, whom we met the night before, we decided to give Le Carlito a try. The tripadvisor rating and reviews helped make the decision as well. The atmosphere is very good and the food was exceptional. Definitely a place to visit another time when in the area.
Have a grat irish pub connected had drinks then supper good service reasonable prices good service vast selection of scotches good supper menu
The place is beautiful but the food was quite expensive for the taste! However the drinks were cheap! The glass of red sangria was 7$ ! Took the carbonara linguine and it wasn’t very tasty! It was a Saturday night so maybe they were overwhelmed by the amount of people!
Was with a group of friends. One had to go order his beer at the bar as the waiter barely came to see us. He certainly lost a lot of money that night as we could hardly get anything ordered from him. Tuna tataki was good. The menu is quite diverse but serving all kinds of food you can’t expect anything to be excellent...this has been Carlito’s and La maison de debauche’s problem forever. It’s a good place for people who prefer ambiance over meal quality.
On the upside: the duck wings were tasty, as was the poutine. On the down side: We ordered a cocktail each, and there was no alcohol in them- and service was so bad there was nothing we could do about it before our appetizers came. The sauces were clearly from a packet- tasty, but if I wanted Knorr mushroom sauce, I could make it at home. Lastly, we had a stomach ache for a week after eating at Le Carlitos, so I don't think the food was very fresh.
