Tokyo Peking Chinese - Troy

I had never ordered from this restaurant before, but now I realize I've been wasting my money elsewhere. Their General Tao's Chicken is perfectly balanced—it's not too sweet and has just the right amount of heat to enhance the flavor without being overwhelming. Most places I order from make it overly sweet, which isn't to my taste. The Side of Plain Lo Mein is outstanding; I couldn't stop eating it and the flavor really stands out. It might just be that the cook did an exceptional job tonight, but I'm looking forward to seeing how consistent their food is over time. So far, I am very pleased and will definitely choose this place over any other Chinese restaurant in the area, and I've tried quite a few.

I am always satisfied! The food is consistently fresh, hot, and tasty. I strongly recommend trying the Sesame Chicken and the pork egg rolls.

We stopped ordering form here a few years ago as the food had become less than good. Tonight we gave the place another chance and ordered through door dash. Describing what we received tonight as food should be considered criminal. This was absolutely the worst meal I have ever been served from a restaurant. We ordered two chef special dishes; orange beef and orange chicken. Both were comprised of rancid grisly cuts of meat and soaked in a thick soup of bright red sauce with nothing else. The pot stickers were thick, clumpy, burnt and had a strong odor of ash. The fried rice was steamed rice with a little soy sauce on it and had certainly never seen a frying pan of any kind. I am completely disgusted by the food we were given and will never order from here again.

It had been a while since we last ordered from Tokyo Peking, and the food was both hot and delicious! From the hot and sour soup to the General Tso's chicken, everything was fantastic!

The owners and their young children are incredibly friendly. Such a wonderful family!
