Full Belly Deli - Truckee

I love their hot corned beef sandwiches! I build my own on Asiago bread. I like their selection of drinks too. It's nice to grab a cold beer some times.

The hot pastrami was excellent! I visited around noon when the restaurant was quite busy, but the service was impressively quick. They really know how to keep things running efficiently. However, seating is somewhat limited.

I've been to this restaurant a hundred times, and even though I've had a bad experience, it hasn't deterred me from coming back. The food here is fantastic. It’s one of those places where once you figure out how you like your meal, you can call in your order ahead of time and trust that it will taste just as good as it always has. Or maybe that's just me and everyone I know! You should definitely give it a try. It's definitely a cut above your standard sandwich shop. By the way, they'll even let you know about FBD when you call to pick up your order.

It's a toss-up when it comes to getting good service and the right order. Unfortunately, today was a bad experience. The employees were busy sweeping and cleaning an hour before closing instead of attending to customers and processing payments. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were closed an hour before closing time, and my order arrived cold instead of hot, even after I confirmed over the phone that it would be served hot. Is it really worth taking the chance?
