Sneaky Pete's Hotdogs - Trussville

So my credit card had problems with the chip reader and the guy who took my order didn't stand there! Only if I wanted to give up until a customer paid behind me for my order! I guess the guy behind me who paid for my meal, but I might not come back to Sneaky Pete?

I visited this restaurant this afternoon and was pleased to find one of the few places that truly knows how to make a classic smoked sausage dog. A proper classic includes grilled onions and peppers, but many places skip this step and serve just a hot dog topped with smoked sausage. Here, they do it right. Additionally, the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place for all your hot dog cravings!

During my first visit to Sneaky Pete, I found the staff to be friendly and the service excellent. However, I was really disappointed with the food. For years, I had heard great things about Sneaky Pete and was expecting something phenomenal, but the reality fell far short. The hot dogs reminded me of the ones I had for lunch in high school—bland and uninspiring. Honestly, they weren’t any better. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but these hot dogs were just grocery store brands topped with canned chili. There was nothing special about them at all.

Chili dogs, burgers, and chicken—oh my! You can't help but love a delicious chili dog. If you don't, that's a shame!

The service is fast and the food is hot. The employees are very friendly. This location was also clean and I do appreciate that as much as I do fresh hot food.
