Emperors Palace - Tuam

Enidable, soggy, cold, over 40 mins late, unbelievable expensive, food missing, only positive was the friendly helpful girl on the phone.... never ever again.

Not only did they give us the wrong order but I found a hair in my food. Absolutely disgusting. No one in the kitchen was wearing a hair net so no wonder! Terribly disappointed.

After recently changing the restaurant name “The Emperors Palace” to “Xi’an Street Food” unfortunately they forgot about the crucial element of a restaurant/takeout , which is the food. An oily disaster if want for a better word. We ordered our food to which we were told it would take 10 mins. 25 mins later our takeaway arrived over the counter. Once opened in the comfort of our home we were disappointed to say the least as we realized they have only added a handful of dishes to an already too big menu. I got the Beef Noodle Box as seen in the picture. It was like eating cardiac arrest with the quantities of oil. I know Asian cuisine tends to be oily but this took the biscuit. In our order was also some starters and a satay chicken . The starters had not changed since before the name change and were also tasteless and boring. The satay sauce was “glupey” and disgusting. It could be used as plaster for a house if left long enough to set. “Xi’an” Tuam new name but the same old antics.

After being re-vamped and re-named to xi’an street food decided to give it a try as I did not eat out of emperors palace. Worst decision ever. It is still the same “food” that was being produced when it was emperors palace. Why bother changing when ye are still selling the horrible, oily and tasteless inedible “food”?! Most definitely will not be back.

Food has really gone down hill. I would be afraid getting food poison. It is like they don't care anymore.
