Angry Crab Shack Bbq - Tucson

We came with very low expectations because we moved here from the beach area.. The rum bucket was perfect. Beer selection was great. We came for lunch and the boil bag was spot on. I did Cajun, hot, and added a half pound of shrimp and it was the exact perfect amount of food. If you like things spicy like me then definitely order higher than hot. There was some heat but definitely not what I thought it would be. Cornbread side was delicious too. Kiddo loved the Mac and cheese. Husband loved his catfish po boy lots of catfish! Cajun fries were delicious too. He also got the oysters on the half shell. Granted he's an oyster snob after working with some wonderful East Coast businesses they weren't exactly what he wanted but he did still enjoyed them. Ya get whatcha get in the desert. Overall everything was wonderful and we'll absolutely be back. Kid friendliness: The kids can draw on the table paper, walls, and seat! I went to purchase gift cards and am planning to return soon to dine there. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had the WORST service ever! Food was good, but the service was HORRIBLE! I 've had bad service before, but never close to this, I understand sometimes waiters are busy or mess up orders, and that was not a big deal, the restaurant was not busy but our waitress Alma did not come back to check on us, she was also super rude. We were a table of 6 so tips are included(18% I 'm guessing that 's why she didn 't care, she gets her tip from each of us anyway. We got tired of waiting for the bill and walked to the register to pay. We all paid separate, paid close to $400, I asked to separate 2 bills, she got frustrated and told me Girl, I got things to do ..um wth! She left and called the manager to help with the bill, I felt bad for even asking that, it seemed like a very hard thing to do, I paid one bill and the mngr left without charging me the other half, so I just waited there, a third lady came and charged the other half, I paid and said thank you, Her response was bye ... The restaurant is located within the Hyatt Place hotel. The service was friendly and the seafood was tasty. However, it was a bit pricey for two people, including tip, coming out to around $185. We were very hungry when we arrived, even though we had eaten just an hour earlier. We decided to share the boil for two with Cajun flavor at medium heat. The selection included shrimp, lobster, snow crab, king crab, sausage, 2 potatoes, and 2 pieces of corn. I wished there were more potatoes to fill my hungry stomach. We also tried the charred oysters, which were good but didn't compare to the Hama oysters from Oregon/Washington. It seems like the restaurant is involved in community giving, which is great to see. My suggestion would be to add more extras to the boil for a more satisfying meal. Thank you!
