Bidra med feedbackI would give this restaurant 4 stars because the main dishes were amazing. However, I was disappointed with the Papas Fritas Peruvian Style Fries as they were just plain steak fries with no seasoning. The Yuquitas were also overcooked and lacked salt. The portion sizes seemed small for the price, but I am not sure if this was because it was a to-go order. I would consider giving this restaurant another try in person.
Inca's is my top choice for dining in Tucson. For a flavorful and distinctive meal, I recommend trying the lomo, pollo, or shrimp saltados - they can be made spicy if you enjoy heat, but also available non-spicy. These dishes are exceptional, but everything I've tried at this restaurant has been amazing. The seafood options are also excellent, the crema volteado dessert is a delicious way to finish your meal, and the salads are particularly appetizing. If you're just passing through Tucson, don't miss the chance to dine at Inca's before you go.
Everything at the restaurant was enjoyable until I reached the rice dish. The rice was undercooked; while the top portion appeared fluffy and well-prepared, the lower portion was clearly not cooked properly. I understand that the restaurant's food is delicious, but at $20 for an entree, I expected larger portions of higher quality and properly cooked meals.
The seco de Carne was divine! so much flavor and comforting. I am definitely planning to visit the restaurant next time.
Ina's is phenomenal. This little restaurant is a family operated business in Tucson and the food is like your Gma or Mom made it. I enjoyed the Conchita (Peruvian Popcorn) after my meal as it wasn't ready beforehand (fantastic either way). I ordered the Ají de gallina it came out pipping hot and was perfectly filling. While eating I enjoyed a Chica Morada to wet my palette. Dessert was light which was even better as it balanced everything out, I highly recommend the alfajores.
