I've been on a motorcycle trip for the past 5 weeks and have stayed at a lot of different motels independent and chain. Tri Star Inn was one of the best! I love the motels where you drive right up to your door. Mike was genuine and welcoming and set me up in room 121. Clean, nice smelling, spacious room with all the amenities including a recliner! Wow did that feel good after a long day on the bike! The doors shut automatically which I forgot when I stepped out in gym shorts at 5:00 AM to grab my coffee cup. Oh oh. Locked out! Thankfully I had the phone and Mike was cheerfully there in minutes to open the room. The location is great too! Quiet and on one end of the historic Tucumcari Rt 66 strip. Great stay, highly recommend!
The taco salad was good. They were out of the first thing I ordered. Kind and helpful staff. The Chiefs-Jaguires game was streaming from a phone so the connection kept dropping but the manager was very diligent about promptly hacking away until the game was back! Much thanks
My husband and I stayed here this past Wednesday. very large , clean room and very friendly staff. Mike was a very nice man. cute little town. enjoyed our stop here in nm
I have 30 years in customer service and the hospitality business. This manager was so rude...Spoke to Mawais on 1/24 regarding booking a room for 3/3 and conflicting information on Booking.com website. He asked that I send and email with all of the accommodations information, which I did. I never heard anything. Called 2/4 to confirm the information, tried to explain about the booking.com website, he repeatedly interrupted me, when I advised that I sent an email, he interrupted again saying I never got an email , would never let me finish my sentence. We will be finding another hotel in Tucumcari, NM if this is the way they treat you over the phone.
