Bidra med feedbackWe were walking around Tui on a wet, windy day. Just taking in the sights, no real plans. So when the rain became quite nasty we looked around for somewhere to take shelter and have a coffee. As soon as we got within 20 metres of Jaqueyvi we could smell delicious garlic prawns. Our simple thoughts of coffee changed immediately. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed amazing garlic prawns that arrived sizzling in a terracotta dish, a plate of lightly (perfectly) fried calamari and dry white wine by the glass which was excellent. A basket of bread completed a truly lovely, spontaneous lunch.
Totally skippable restaurant. Tourist trap Expensive and blah. Even worse not very fresh. Let's also try small servings. There is a better place around the corner in front of the amazing church/castle. If you want to feel let down...and hungry ...come here
We began our sailing season early this year, which means it is a little difficult to find restaurants that open for dinner on Sunday and Monday. What a relief to discover this lovely restaurant. I must mention how much we liked our servers, who were very pleasant and very helpful as well as professional. We enjoyed arroz con mariscos on our first visit and tried a mixed fish with potato dish the second night. The shared starters including salad and calamares were very well executed. Our waiter suggested six of us share a variety of desserts, which was very successful! Happy to return and recommend.
