Black Bear Diner Tulare

Food is good, staff is very nice. Doesn’t take too long to get food.

I have been to only two black bear diners, hanford and tulare. They have a huge selection of food. I got the omelette with egg whites. Nothing spectacular about the food, but the prices are decent and it was a good meal. Sorry, no pictures this time.

Food was good, our server Alba was excellent, and the atmosphere is ok. Parking lot is huge. They seated our group of 12 with no problem.

Service was attentive and speedy. Atmosphere was full of black bears wooden and stuffed!,log cabin like.

We stopped here based on others reviews that said the food here was good. Well let me tell you, the food was AMAZING! I ordered the Volcano pancakes with bacon and eggs. It was enough food to feed an Army and the pancakes were so big and fluffy. I don’t know their secret to making t their pancakes that fluffy but they definitely have some little trick to it. My daughter got the cinnamon roll French toast and gobbled down every last bite. My son had their burgers and fries and said it was a “10 out of 10”. My hubby ordered the Bear Paw chicken fried steak with mash and gravy and garlic parmesan toast. He said the steak was tender and well seasoned and the sides were excellent as well. I would 100% return to this Diner if ever given the opportunity in the future.
