Bidra med feedbackService was pretty fast and I think there was only one waiter. There were about 4 to 5 tables full of customers (the place is not that big). The food was pretty good. It was unpleasant bc the place was dead silence, no music so you can hear yourself breathing. I guess we only use places with music to drown ppls conversation. I'd go back, but not soon.
Nice portions of fresh food that is well prepared. Great Thai tea as well. I recommend the 5 Spice Beef, it is delicious and in a large portion.
Warm amber lighting with upper and lower deck seating. Clean area. I had a cafe-sua-da, Vietnamese ice coffee it was somewhat sweet but still good. For my meal I had the bo-luk-lak (image below) and a wonton soup to begin. Wonton was hot and perfect as it was light. The main dish was very chewy but the sauce they used and presentation was very flavorful. I had to cut the chunks down into pieces to manage eating. Overall the food was good and the waitress was awesome. I would go back here again and try the noodle soup. Maybe I'll ask them to cook the beef a little longer.
My favorite place in Tulsa for pho (which Tulsa actually has a surprising number of places, thanks to the large Vietnamese-American population . The staff is always super friendly and quick on service. My favorite is the special (gimme all those tendons and organs ? . The spring rolls are a must for an appetizer, and don't forget! Do yourself a treat and order the Vietnamese coffee. My only suggestions to the restaurant: Please serve jalapeños with the soups, and it would be SUPER COOL if you guys sourced and served Vietnamese beer!
I ordered the sliced beef pho, my only complaint was there was no jalapeno, I love fresh jalapeno in mine. Broth was great, nice and got. Three bed was perfect, thinly sliced and tender. My server was perfect as well. You are given shrimp chips before your meal, no idea what that is exactly but they are very good, melt in your mouth.
