Bidra med feedbackIt’s a fact that the Piedmontese eat well but the same dishes repeat all over town. This place is the culinary cure. Each classic comes with an unexpectedly delicious twist: Vitello tonnato with turmeric, ragù with Pak Choi, grissini breaded chicken- all presented in a refined non-pretentious manner. Great starters and a wine list that would have any expert scrambling as to where to start. There must be a thousand meat boards in this area but this restaurant serves up a gem. Service was prompt, friendly and many spoke English. Excellent prices for house wine and food. Highly recommend!!!
I’m not sure I’d have tried this place if I was just strolling by as it doesn’t look like anything special from the outside but a friend had told me to try this place. She said the food was divine and she was spot on. My meal was amazing and if I had another night in Turin I think I would have returned to try a different menu option. The staff were lovely. It seemed to be filled with mainly locals, which is always a good sign and the food was perfection.
We had dinner here on Monday evening and quite simply thought it was something special. Unusual dishes and combinations, great service and clear that not only have they thought through the unique food combinations, the menu and a good wine list not asking silly money La Societa die Carbonari go a step further. The food!! Amazing! Very, very different, go look at the menu. What made it a really relaxing? Easy to book on line. A dedicated website with a menus (rather than the cheap option of FB only page and trying to access the 'file ' section) and one that translates. When you get there, menu is in Italian, French and English. Welcome was warm and generous Joy of joys instead of having to mess around filling in all your personal details to access WiFi, the p/w is there in front of you. After a long day of sightseeing and tired feet, this was perfect.
We were a party of 4, with each person ordering a different starter and a different main course 7 out of 8 meals were beautifully presented, innovative and delicious, which doesn't hapoen often in this price range. Kudos!
Il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto basso. Abbiamo ordinate un tris di antipasti, gazpacho di anguria, fusilloni al ragù di coniglio e melanzana ripiena. Abbiamo anche preso due calici di vino e dell'acqua. Il conto è stato di 35€ a testa. Purtroppo nessuno di questi piatti ci ha soddisfatto.
