Bidra med feedbackSplitting the bill and paying separately is a common way of payment, particularly for foreign students. So, it shouldn’t be used as a leverage to disrespect students, who are coming from the same country as you. The manager was giving examples of if the bill is paid separately, there would be some items left which nobody claims to pay for that, which is nonsense. It’s just a simple subtraction, and the remaining amount would be paid by the head of the group. This inappropriate behavior had a bad influence on me and my guests on my university graduation night. Regarding the quality of food, it was also complained directly to the manager, that the food was salty, and chopped onions can be felt within Chelo Kobide, which in Persian recipe it shouldn’t. Then, the respond was “Ok”. With respect to the tea, it was delicious and worths tasting after the meal.
It was my first time trying persian food and the experience was amazing. The attention of this place is very attentive and fast. The food is very good, eventhough the menu has limited dishes, I think that the options are very good enough. We love it so much that we were back at the next day.
We had tried various Middle Eastern food like Turkish, Lebanese, Syrian, etc and we loved it but never Iranian/Persian. You'd better book a table in advance because the place is not big and after we went there, it quickly got full. Nice interior with a pure Persian touch table cloths, Persian carpet, Persian style drawings on the walls. The waitress was very warm and welcoming and took some time to help us choose from the menu. The food was one of a kind, so delicious with the saffron and other Persian herbs and spices. We enjoyed a platter of 4 Persian appetizers with lavash. Then we had 3 different dishes (unfortunately I remember the name of only one of them) Shishlik (lamb cutlets), a skewer of minced veal with chunks of chicken in it and a combination of skewers of minced veal and chicken pieces. All 3 dishes were accompanied by a grilled tomato and a pepper, and 3 different kinds of steamed rice. All the food was awesome and with the desserts we had (mix of Persian sweets and baklava on the house with Persian tea), it was simply a great experience. I can't wait till next time I find a Persian restaurant like that one!
