Pippurimylly - Turku

Legendary restaurant, a great place to have dinner. Very good stakes. Often quite crowded though and can get a bit noisy at times, but still absolutely worth it.

We have been Turku for Triathlon competition and booked Airbnb just next to this restaurant surprisingly. And we would like to taste their food. So before the race day nice to eat more carbohydrates so pizza was our choose it was very delicious and fast friendly serving Kiitos

Had a nice lunch here. However, I wish we had looked ag the reviews earlier to see that when the serve their steaks it is covered with sauce. That took down a couple of notches for my partner. They would've liked to taste the meat without the heavy cream sauce as well. As a vegan then I must say that their vegan option, the stuffed portobello mushroom, is quite basic. It tastes nice, but definitely nothing too special. But then again, it is a steakhouse so I am grateful they serve something! Their chocolate cake was the best part of our lunch. And I also really enjoyed their glöggi. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the allergens in the food. However, not the most attentive after the food was brought out.

Traditional location and guaranteed quality. Lots of families at noon. Reservations are recommended.
