Bidra med feedbackFamily run with whole-heath foods and grains. Much of their food and meats they produce on the farm. Very appealing to back-to-the-earth types but also appealing to the general public. They make breakfast and lunch and have inside nook seating and outside seating as well to enjoy your meal. Upstairs they have a fiber department where you can learn to weave. All in all a very interesting destination for those who want to take a drive to Turner Maine for this, cute out of the way, farm store. Parking: Dirt parking lot adjacent to the store.
Long long long wait for food. Coffee served ice cold (supposed) to be hot. Thankfully, food was tasty!
So, I personally rated this place at 3 stars.. because this places products just wasn’t for me. Only thing I remember liking was pancake syrup. However, just because I didn’t find anything I liked, doesn’t mean you won’t.The staff are extremely welcoming, polite and helpful. Now when I do visit this place, it’s only to be the chauffeur for my elderly mother (she absolutely loves this place and we visit often so she can stock on all her favorite items before winter). So as with all my reviews, I may not like the food, but my mother does and you may very well find something you like as well. I encourage people to give this place a shot!
Very nice people. Very nice dogs, cats and flies. They only had two problems -they don't know how to run a restaurant and they don't know how to cook.
This place to me was like Paris syndrome not as great as I expected it to be. It has a variety of gourmet goods, food, and drink, but I thought a lot of items were overpriced. I ordered breakfast at the counter (there was no table service two over easy eggs and homemade toast, sides of their homemade sausage and home fries, and their House latte. Even though I said I was eating indoors, everything was served in takeout cardboard and plastic. The eggs and sausage were in a container with a corrugated bottom that made it difficult to dip the toast in the yolk because it seeped into the container. At least a paper plate would have been better. Plastic utensils. (The photos from other TripAdvisor reviewers show food served in real dishes what happened? . When I walked in, I asked where the cafe was. There 's no cafe it 's more like a general store with meals and indoor and outdoor seating. I 'm very surprised that the 'cafe ' portion won the James Beard Foundation Northeast Regional award in the American Classics category. The food was good, but the presentation and attention to detail were terrible. And, I saw a dead goat kid in the goat pen on my way out that the owners hadn 't realized yet.
