Bidra med feedbackI’ve come to this café for breakfast, brunch, and lunch on occasion in the past but I recently saw that they expanded their hours (until 10PM recently, so I’ve been there three times now for dinner. Someone sabotaged their ground sign outside, cutting out the “Dinner” part, but they are indeed open for dinner.Their menu is much-expanded, and everything I’ve tried has been fantastic: Greek salad, chili (which is also great on the tater tots , soups, cappellini (like angel hair pasta with meat sauce (great flavor , tortellini (again with the great meat sauce , chicken parmigiana, and an amazing chicken pesto pizza. (They said they have some kind of special cheese along with their homemade dough and sauces. The portions and prices are very reasonable. They also have at least 20 desserts, some of which the owner said are imported from Italy. The prices are decent enough to be able to try a few of them and share them with the group.
I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce, which was served with mini garlic bread on the side, while my boyfriend had the French dip. The onion rings that accompanied the sandwich were freshly made and generous in size, and the ranch dressing was homemade. I was initially concerned about my spaghetti since the sauce didn’t have a bright red color, but it surprised me with its amazing flavor. It was just as good as what I’ve had at the Old Spaghetti Factory, but much more affordable! I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, reasonable prices, excellent customer service, and diverse menu. Our total bill came to under $35 for our generous portions. We’ll definitely be returning!
Love it! We needed a place to do some late night studying and the owner was so kind and supportive. The great food fuelled us and our studying. We already have plans to come back tomorrow!
During my visit to family, we decided to dine at this restaurant. It’s a fantastic family spot with plenty of menu options. I tried the wild turkey sandwich, which featured turkey, avocado, and alfalfa sprouts on squaw bread. It was exactly what I had been craving. My family also loved their choices of pizza, Chicken Alfredo, burgers, and a mahi mahi wrap. I would definitely recommend this place!
The most frustrating part was how the tortillas were handled. It seems Chef Mike (the microwave) is doing all the work. You should never microwave tortillas! It compromises their ability to hold the filling, making them fall apart while eating. Instead, they should be heated on a hot surface. Also, a quick tip: there are two sides to a tortilla, and the soft side is meant to cradle the ingredients. Instead, I had to resort to using a fork to eat these tacos, which is simply not the way tacos are meant to be enjoyed. If they can't get it right, they should consider taking them off the menu. The second taco held together better, but it quickly cooled down, leaving the tortilla soggy. Overall, this experience was quite disappointing.
