South Tweed Sports - TWEED HEADS

My wife and I went to dinner at the restaurant on Saturday night, 21/10/23. I ordered the surf and turf, while my wife had the schnitzel with mashed vegetables. Unfortunately, my surf and turf was the worst steak I have ever had. It tasted like water with bits of gristle throughout, indicating that it may have been microwaved from frozen. The meat was practically tasteless and the sauce that came with it was disappointing, served in a small plastic container. The prawns were only halfway decent. My wife's schnitzel was dry and the mashed potatoes were discolored, suggesting they were old. Overall, the service from the staff was pleasant, but I would suggest getting rid of the chef or cook responsible for the subpar meal. The experience was ruined by the lackluster food.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the club is clean and pleasant. However, the quality of the meals was disappointing and left much to be desired.

I highly recommend South Tweed Sports Club for its great food, breathtaking views, and live music support. I also joined their table tennis club and have been thoroughly enjoying it.

We thought it was a ok we actually joined and we will visit when we are in the area.

Good size meal.ribs were just ok with plenty of sauce. Veggies were nice.
