John's Place - Twentynine Palms

We really enjoyed the chicken fried steak and eggs. The eggs were cooked perfect the gravy is good the restaurant is very clean.

This place might be our regular go-to whenever we visit Joshua Tree. My friends and I were visiting for the day and just stopped here to grab some lunch and we loved it. Everything tasted fresh with generous portions to get the most bang for your buck. Very divey-style burger place, but sometimes that's what you want on a road trip right? Exactly. We really like the zucchini fries. Other places we've tried those at haven't been good, usually very soggy. But John's zucchini fries were crisp and fresh and delicious. Definitely stopping by here again the next time we're driving thru town.

The waitress was sweet the service was fast the place was clean. I just wish it had been fresh fish not frozen. But my husband's mushroom burger was excellent We will be back.

Delicious diner food, the takeout window actually works! We ordered ahead and pulled up, gave them our card, and then we got our receipt and food! Food was simple but delicious, we ordered the granny apple salad which came with granny apples, walnuts, raisins, and honey mustard. The French dip was standard but very reasonably priced!

This was an ok diner. The staff was great but the food was mediocre. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros with home fries and a stack of pancakes. I honestly did not enjoy the meal. The only thing I liked about it was the beans and the butter on the pancakes. This is just my experience and I'm sure others had better.
