The chicken was boiled and still pink the knives and fork are old and have dell and are mishape a knife had a kink at the end where it looked like it was used as a screwdriver. the plates are old and have printed yuk. will not be back soon
The starters were very tasty and the popadoms were fresh and crispy. it all went down. a reasonable selection of main dishes, but some timeless classics are missing. asked if the prawn tell could be turned to chicken and this was met with a fixed “no”. the netzen were below average for taste and quality. after only 75 minutes the waiter brought the bill that had not been requested, but we were close, anyway so indifferent. but within literally getting a minute or two of the money, the waiter returned and asked us to go as he had people waiting. I get it was to do it, but we had actually put ourselves in an empty restaurant for our reservation a little early. When he discussed this with the manager, he said we had allowed only 90 minutes and he thought we said that when we arrived. we were not and above all we had not even been there for 90 minutes and had maintained with the tempo of the service. I am 56 years old and was in a fair restaurant in the last few years. I'm usually quite relaxed when the dinges don't go to plan, but this overall experience was by far the worst I've ever experienced. I would not have returned anyway because the nets were not great, but the service was actually quite insulting.
We went on a rugby day so expected it to be busy so didn't have an issue waiting. Food was cooked to a great standard with lots of fresh flavours so well worth waiting for.
Outstanding place to eat, can't recommend it enough
