Great stop en route to Mt Cook from wanaka. we had the soup, hash browns, eggs, toast . Friendly service. Vegetarian options: They had the beans tortilla, egg toast, delicious sweet potato soup. We vegetarians are used to not being top of the pref list. We are happy we got a few things : the soup might have had beef stock, but we didn't ask. The less we know, the better ! Service: Dine in

Wait service was very slow and unhelpful. No interaction from staff. Tables that arrived after us received food before us. Waited over 40 minutes for a basic meal. Coffee was ok. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Unfortunately we arrived at their busy lunch rush. 50 minute wait for food. Other guests seemed to order after us and get served before us. Perhaps it was the food we ordered but the food was basic, not great, and expensive. Waitresses were lovely and apologetic. Oh well we got free coffee for the wait. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
