Bidra med feedbackThe food was great and the music felt truly authentic, but I did have to request water refills. The interior was a bit odd, but overall, the food made it worth the visit!
I was completely amazed to discover such excellent Asian cuisine in two ports. They serve Chinese, Vietnamese, and a few Thai dishes. I ordered the fresh spring rolls and the beef pad Thai, and both were phenomenal. Being on vacation, it was a refreshing change from the usual sandwich and hamburger options available at most places. The spring rolls were exceptionally tasty, and the warm peanut sauce served with them was a delightful surprise—I had never experienced that before!
I really approve of this new restaurant! The food was expertly prepared. We initially thought we would just grab a beer next door at the port landing, but then we discovered this place right next to it. We were able to order at the bar and have our drinks brought to us. The food here is genuinely authentic and not the typical deep-fried or baked items you usually find in Chinese restaurants. It truly stands out. I would definitely recommend it!
Lilly is a wonderful host and boss! I stopped at noon with my two little children and they disappeared the pho and egg rolls. Pho broth was very aromatic and tasteful. As an additional gesture of hospitality, Lilly and our family had a pleasant conversation at the end of our meal my daughter commented on how she liked the fan shaped watch on the wall of the restaurant, and Lilly offered that we take it home with us! I recommend it very!!!
Great food. I wish the buffet was back but I understand that it is slow during the off season and food would go to waste. I like the staff there too. General Tso's is good. Didn't see it on the menu but you can request it. Egg rolls were super good. The beef lo mein was wok fresh. Pad Thai was flavorful but the noodles were in a massive heap stuck together. During the off season, you may find that the restaurant is closed even during business hours. Also, when it is open, you might not see any workers inside. Just make yourself known by yelling into the kitchen. You have to remember that this is a small family run business that needs to be mindful of cost so they might be prepping in the back with no one out front. The great food but questionable service is just a victim of small town lack of traffic so cut them a break. They're a really nice family just trying to scratch out a living in the north country. Support local.
