Bidra med feedbackIt has been years since we last went the happy’s. every bite was a culinary experience! where do I start? the waitress was great! the beer was cold, the hurricane of my wife was great! we have the seafood plate and a large frogbone plate so we rehearse! the Boudain link was great! best dirty rice I've had for years! the dough that the fish and frog legs were seasoned with only one hauch of heat! it was a long time ago, but we often come back!
Great food. stephanie is an excellent server with a great humor! the tears should die!
Eating was great, but the customer service was missing. hostess murmured and didn't talk loud enough to hear everything she said and quickly went back to her phone. server was nice and did good except we ran out of our drinks and had to fly them down. as I said, eating was amazing and there is a little cajun influence in her eating.
Eating was just delicious. I had fried alligator bites with 2 different sauces, crabtail-Po-Junge, red beans and rice, roasted okra, hushpuppies and a hash brown. I also had fritted frog legs for the first time, as well as a twill ring for a garnish. the frog legs were good, tasted almost like huh. the Alligator bites were really good, tasted like chicken nuggets. I love eating Cajun/Creole. the whole restaurant was decorated like a pirate ship.
My waitress was very friendly and explained everything about cancer. I decided to try fried cancer to my surprise there was a huge plate of cancer more than I could eat. she also told me that the key-cold cake was homemade, so I decided to give it a try, as well as I took it to go so I haven't tried yet, but it looks delicious. the atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing it looks as if you were in a large pirate ship.
