Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill - Tyler

I wish I could rate this establishment a 0. I called in a simple order, and was quoted 10 min untill completion. When I arrived I was shocked to realize my wait would be another 30 min! After I finally recieved my fairly simple order; it was wrong and the staff member was not only rude and aggressive with me for voicing my disatisfaction, but pointed at my face and stared me down with the arrogance of a ruler, refused to correct the order or give me a complete refund! Needless to say I left her with the money, and the screwed up, sloppy, bagged up mess, and will NEVER go back!

If I could write this review without using any stars I would, but I chose the lowest of the low. I'm fairly new to Tyler, but I've eaten at the Salsarita's in Longview for many years. I thought that the experience here would be just as good....but boy was I sadly mistaken. First off, the customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE. There were no smiles or friendly faces from any of the employees that I dealt with. I purchased two burrito bowls and had to ask for more of everything on the bowl, because they barely gave me anything. They seemed aggravated that I asked for a little more lettuce, cheese and salsa. At checkout, the employee tried to stuff two big sized bowls into one very small bag. I asked her if I could please get another bag to place the second bowl in so that I could carry my food out of the store without dropping anything, and she grabbed a bag and laid it on the counter for me to pick up and she turned her back to do something else without saying one word to me. My receipt was still hanging out of the register after I swiped my credit card, and I took it upon myself to grab it since she acted like I wasn't even standing there. Very rude and unprofessional service...I will NEVER go back again!

The restaurant was pretty busy when we were there, it was the lunchtime. that did not impede their quality of service! all were friendly and they made my quesorito perfect. the food was very fresh, veggies were crispy and also fresh. the area was as wonderful as the food area, very clean. I'm disabled, they kindly had someone who brought my tablet to the table where I sat. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the bathroom wasn't on the ground. I know it was busy at this time, but cleanliness is important and we go to the bathroom to wash our hands, etc. before eating. what eat and service absolutely no complain! the portions are huge and I could not finish. another bonus, they have indoor and outdoor eating! great work salsaritas!

Fast and casual. I would choose this place over taco bell or taco bueno every day. the food is freshly prepared before them and consists of recognizable ingredients. in contrast to taco bells secret meat. the selection is limited, but I am in favour of simplified menus more. reasonable price. take them Friday and Saturday friends for cheap beer and a taco.

I can't call it five star but it's close and it's because it's a serving line and not formal dining setting. It is the best food bar by far in Tyler Texas. The staff offers blessing and a low stress encounter. Go and enjoy.
