Bidra med feedbackWe went from the hotel to the river and went to the old part of the city and the fishermen’s quarter from the metzgertor. it became quite late that evening and many of the rustic restaurants in this part of the city were quite full. we finally discovered the restaurant to the symposium with a beautiful outside area near one of the streams. we took our seats on a table among the big sun umbrellas and were politely asked to make our decisions for eating quick as the kitchen was on the edge when closing. I went for the local swab dish that was delicious. I also washed it with a large glass cellar beer from the local Ochsen brewery. when we were stuck in our meal, unfortunately the heavens opened quite impressively. my son and his friend then beat a laborious retreat inward, along with the rest of the meal and drink. I tied it up until I cleaned my teller. then I also made a beetle for the part of the restaurant under days. all very cozy, except the loud idle chatter of a few young ladies who ruin the intimate atmosphere. I assume that they were either deaf or just diner possessed for others. I guess the latter. No matter, despite the weather and the loud youth, we enjoyed our meal here.
After hours drive to the beautiful city ulm, my partner and I decided to walk through the city center and found this restaurant. the beer garden was quite busy, but the server was fast on a...loving table on the bridge, under the stream. we ordered both the local yeast and of course the shinitzel. eating was good, but our server sabine was excellent! Even with her mask we knew she had a constant smile on her face. she was cheerful, efficient, has a sense of humor and made us feel really welcome! we liked them so much that we promised to come back two days later. she immediately recognized us, gave us table and was really surprised when we said we wanted a table for four we brought our friends (which we visited) with us. server like sabine are rare, but they made an already beautiful holiday even better! Many thanks, sabine and until the next time!
In this restaurant went early without a booking to dinner and managed to get a table on a Friday night. they sat down in a beautiful old room. our drinks came quickly and shortly after eating. the black was very tasty. the music. was a bit strange and it looked like what a DJ stand at an end of the room that seemed first for the type of restaurant it was, but actually looking later, it looks like to open into a kind of nightclub later that I would try in any case. service was friendly and would return definitiw.
On Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately we found the service to be very poor. even after waiting for minutes and one of the waiter's attention, we thought that she would be back to take our order, but she did not return. I then decided to go from the bar in me and order and seemed as if the restaurant had a problem with it and the girl behind the bar was quite rude. When I got my drink, my partner tried to settle later. a few more minutes went to buy. it is not particularly pleasant experience if need to constantly compete for attention. not return.
Great food in a great setting. We sat outside on a warm evening, next to the canal. Listening to the water, shady trees all around us, sipping nice wine was very nice. We both had soup: my companion had a goulash soup he loved and...I had a very tasty broth with ravioli-style dumpling. Wonderful flavors, good service. If we stayed another day, we would have returned.
