Bidra med feedbackEven though the restaurant was not too busy, I ordered a rib eye steak and received a rump steak. When the waiter brought it to the table he said ‘rump steak’ ? I told him I ordered dry aged rib eye steak. He took it back to the kitchen and a few mins.later brought back the same steak. I ate it as I was hungry but it was def. not a rib eye steak! The manager told me it was! It was embarrassing to continue arguing about this in front of our guests, so I left it. To Owner/Management Please check your kitchen orders, and don’t blindside customers, we are not stupid!
Top steaks, great wine selection and very good espresso. We had the 300g rip eye and the chicken breast with avocados. A very good white wine and the biltong as a starter. Service was incredibly attentive and very friendly. It was even possible to smoke a cigar outside. Visited Butcher Boys Umhlanga today for the first time around 14:25 and all we got was an extremely rude front male person and the waitress who had asked us when we entered was Do you think you will be done by 4:30 beacuse we are very busy and fully booked after 5 ' ' Then she looked at her watch and said Try and make it quick They did not even give us a chance to respond ! No Hospitality what so ever! The attitude we recieved was pathetic.We will never step foot in Butcher Boys again! Furthermore I Was surprised to see that a service fee had been added to the bill given that we were a table of 2.I genuinely always give a Tip or pay a service fee at a restuarant but the fact that you guys force it on us and add it to our bills is a no for me .As for the food my hubby ordered a tomahawk 800g medium well done which was okay but the spinach was horrible .I ordered the Butcher plater for 1 and I can honestly say that the chop and the sirloin steak was tasting burnt .We did not complain as we felt rushed out of there .Top it all the table was dirty and waitress did not offer to clean up before we sat down .Overall experience was Horrible.
