The Lansdowne Irish Pub Music House

Whenever we come to Mohegan we eat here usually for dinner. I just took my mother yesterday and the food was great. We had the cod and mashed potatoes. Full of flavor, cook perfectly and good portions. We have had their salmon, corned beef, and many otheritems. Always good!

Had a wonderful meal here during the BBQ Sun Fest weekend. The pot pie was delicious, the crust was flakey and browned to perfection. Only needed a little salt for seasoning, IMHO I would?ve added some Abode for a kick of flavor, but otherwise it wasgreat. The pulled pork was wonderful. Very large sandwich and hand cut fries. We?ll definitely come back.

I arrived at 4:00 PM with a group of six (Lansdowne doesn't take reservations). Unfortunately, two members of our party were still on their way, and the hostess refused to seat us until everyone had arrived. It was incredibly frustrating! When the two finally showed up, we were then told there was an hour wait for our table of six. While waiting, we decided to grab some beers and appetizers at the bar. Despite several empty tables, we asked if we could take some chairs to accommodate ourselves better, but the hostess denied our request due to fire code regulations. It didn’t make much sense, considering there were plenty of empty seats available. In the end, we found a great alternative at Ballos, which turned out to be a much better dining experience! All’s well that ends well!

I recently had dinner at this restaurant with my family, and we tried a wide variety of dishes, including mac and cheese burgers, Reuben sandwiches, BBQ wings, and waffles. While the service was pleasant and our waitress was friendly, the food was unfortunately terrible—some of the worst I’ve ever tasted—and it was extremely overpriced. I enjoy dining out, but if you’re looking for great food, I highly recommend heading over to Chick-fil-A just around the corner; you'll find much better quality at a fraction of the cost. It’s disappointing to feel like I should suggest a fast food option instead of enjoying a meal prepared by chefs. I even considered asking the waitress to take our meals off the bill, but I knew that would be unrealistic, so I didn’t pursue it. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Avoid it at all costs.

Great spot with tasty food! We arrived before the dinner crowd, but judging by the long line, it seems like this place gets really busy!
