I literally just left there and was lied to right in my face by this big Hispanic guy at the register. I ordered 2 Broccoli and Cheddar Bread Bowls. He said, when you order it to go, you get the next size container . I get home and they gave me the small one. The Soup itself was trash!! No flavor at all. The Bread Bowl was small as hell!!! I hate false advertisement!! Never going back there again. Especially when you drive from far away, get home, and ya **** aint right!!!
The staff behind the scenes and in the front are very friendly, professional, and accommodating. They make sure you leave happy and content with their services and what you ordered. 5 stars plus!
This location is always running short on several items. There 's also one lady there who has an attitude every time I go in there. I purposely place my order online and wait until whenever I get a confirmation that my food is ready to go in to pick it up. I give her my name and she looks at me beyond confused saying no . I 'm not sure what she was saying no to as I received the text my food was ready several minutes prior to. I waited a bit confused and she then asked me again what my name was, and found that my food was ready the entire time. Customer service here isn 't all that. The portions are disappointing as well. Not sure if it 's different when you dine in but whenever it 's take out, it 's a fraction of the portion, or items incorrect/missing.
When she returned, I repeated my order, and again she left to confirm it and came back saying they had what I wanted. While waiting for our food, my brother needed sugar for his coffee but couldn't find any staff around to help. The woman at the register had vanished, so we searched in the cabinets ourselves and found some sugar. Soon after, a larger employee approached us and reprimanded us, saying, “You can’t just go looking through there.” We explained that there was no sugar available, but she insisted we should have asked someone, to which we pointed out that there was no one around. She didn’t have a response to that. Later, I went to the pickup counter for a knife to cut my sandwich, and the same employee who had scolded us was leaning against the counter, blocking the utensils and busy texting on her phone. I politely said, “Excuse me,” and she simply stared at me. I mentioned I needed a knife. Instead of moving or handing me one, she continued to stare, replied with a sarcastic “okay,” and made a face as if I was an inconvenience. It’s clear that this place needs better management and staff training. The manager should ensure employees know how to properly operate the restaurant and interact with customers. I enjoy the food, but after having a bad experience at the Short Hills location, I hoped this newer place would be better. Unfortunately, the problems seem consistent. They really need to hire people who care about their work, provide adequate training on menu items, and improve basic customer service skills.
