Jj's Retro Eatery - Union City

We were on the sunny Sunday and decided to stop for lunch. We had chicken stables. They had no spaghetti, so they replaced egg noodles. It tasted good. It was a big part. The salad was like any other this time of the yearbook stick-onion-one grape tomatin and a thin slice of gurke. The creamy onion salad dressing was the best ever. I had the best peanut butter thunder cake in the world. Light/fluffy and a large part. My friend had cherry cheesecake and can't stop talking about it!

We are blessed to have the Retro here for us all to enjoy. The food is always good, as is the service. Greg and Deb James are always at the helm working hard. It shows in the service and the food. The servers are always very welcoming and take great care of us and our friends. The Diner it self is beautiful ! It's like going back in time. Then we get to end the meal with the best pies and deserts. Keep up the great job, we are grateful you are here in union city.

Love this dinner, baked Lasagna is to die for. Fish, shrimp, fresh cut fries. Wonderful fresh pies. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing. We truly enjoy coming here. Never had a bad meal, the service is great. The expanded dining area makes for many more seats. <3

Never stopped here until tonight...the food was excellent and the service was excellent....I love this place...takes you back in time ...the pictures on the walls brought back so many memories...my grandparents owned and operated the taxi business in union city ...the picture of the taxi in there I road in when I was 5 years old....my mom used to drive taxi for them and I rode with her...it is a nice atmosphere in there and we are going to back there again and again...the retro is an awesome place....:

First time I was there I was really impressed, Waitress was Very Very Good, Owner was really nice, prices were good, restaurant was very nice plenty of seating the chicken n biscuits were very good so all n all a Very Very Good place to go eat, if I lived closer I would definitely b going there all the time, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would 1 last thing, the Cherry Cheesecake is really good also
