Bidra med feedbackI have lived inStoneybrook Village almost seven years now. The first restaurant I ate my first meal was at the Copa Cabana and every time I go I am not disapointed! Ive never had their Cuban Sandwich according to my nephew is great. Ive never had it so I cant really verify. I have had the Bistek con cebolla, Red Beans, Red Rice and Amarillos or tostones , the steak is very tasty and made fresh itsTa nice portion too! I usually take my left overs, the house salad is good, but an avocado salad is better. Another one of my Top Places to Eat on Donnelly Street, Mount Dora, Fl
I dont recommend them for delivery. Styrofoam containers result in condensation inside packaging causing causing soggy cold sandwiches and fries. Food was also undercooked with one item remaining frozen in the center.
What I got from this place were just horrible. The Bistec De Palomilla was stringy, sour, chewy, the yellow rice was hard and stale. The Carne Con Papas was much worse, the meat was so over cooked, I could not swallow it, it must have been the result of sitting around for too long in the restaurant. The moro rice was stale as well. I will never, ever, order from this place again.
It was our first time ordering and I have to say I was a little disappointed. The Sandwich Cubano was just ok. I had a high expectation for this place after all the good Ive heard. And then our fries ended up in the garbage as they were mushy and undercooked.
The Pernil was dry and there were hard unchewable pieces in the yuka. The fries that came with the Cubano were undercooked. The Tostones were rubbery, not crisp, and barely warm, and we didnt get the bread or the sauces that the site said should come with the meal. Pernil used to be my favorite thing at Copacabana. Its sad that things have changed so much.
