Taco Buddha - University City

Came with non vegan family and we all loved our food. Staff nice. Price not too bad

I basically ordered almost everything from the menu that was vegan: chips and guacamole, a roasted veg dish that was served on two corn tortillas, plus beans and rice without cheese. The guacamole was pretty good, not the best ever, but solid. The roasted veg dish was just blah. No real effort put into it. I ate only half of it. Some grilled and seasoned tofu or tempeh would have helped, along with some vegan sour cream and something crunchy. Finally, the black beans were outstandingly delicious. They could definitely try a bit harder with vegan options. Omni husband said that fish tacos were best ever. So they could do better if they cared enough.

Saw this place on the app and decided to wonder there. It's a sweet little gem tucked away off the beaten path. The food is vegan friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The outdoor seating has large umbrellas that creates some nice shade!

This is a cute taco shop that opened up in 2017 tucked away in middle of the U-city neighborhoods. You always run into neighbors there because it's where all the locals (in the area) walk to. The tacos are inspired by New Mexican cuisine and most feature hatch chillies native to that area. The menu rotates but always has vegan options. FREE salsa and guac!! Beautiful patio area and service is always pleasant
