Thai Family - Upland

Thai family restaurant is not good. Everything was bland and had only the flavor of fish sauce. I've had a lot of Thai food and this is one of the worst places ever! I don't recommend this place at all.

I ordered this for pick up. Service was quick. I ordered the pad ke Mao and Panang curry. The curry was pretty runny and the pad ke Mao didn't have the traditional flavors I'm used to. In their defense it's does say spicy noodles but when ordering I asked if it was pad ke Mao.

A real Hidden gem. Wonderful, scrumptious Thai food with a very interesting way to choose your meal. You choose the main ingredients for your meal and then you choose the style in which you want it done. The moderately priced complete meals $14-$18) Include salad, soup, eggroll, and the main course with Rice. Many choices, of rice, including berry rice. The presentation of the food is outstanding. It is getting popular and is a little crowded on the weekends. I recommend you try it weekdays first. It is a small restaurant, but nicely done and the service is excellent.

Not bad but not great I ordered the Pad See Ew and it was pretty bland, definitely needed more sauce. The portions are big but it lacks flavor :

Absolutely love the atmosphere, food and service- thanks to Tong (hope I spelled your name correctly)! Nice little jazzy music, of course elephant pictures art! Tong greeted us with a smile and assisted us by suggesting more of a family style option so we got the yellow chicken curry and chicken pad Thai. I know generic picks but so glad we did. Both were so good. Very good portion enough for lunch tomorrow. Tong was great and very attentive. We can't wait to come back!
