Mr. Ed's Drive In - Urbana

The banana spils should die. The chili cheese fires were amazing. The chicken sandwich saw smooth Jane but it also tasted super good.

I have loved this place my entire life. Not much has changed, which is the best thing!

Love Mr. Ed's!! My grandparents started taking me here in the 70' and I bring my kids here today. It's a must on the way to our cabin and on our way home!

Your old fashioned ice cream and hamburger drive in. Small area inside for seating around 20 people. I think 3 picnic tables under the trees outside. They have a walk up order window where you can order an entire meal or just a shake or ice cream to rake away or enjoy at the picnic tables. If you prefer a little air conditioning you can order inside the small dining area also. Usually younger high school kids working the place as well as some adult staff. They are always super friendly and accommodating to their customers. Food is excellent. Prices are fair. I can say other than an ice cream cone or two melting faster than I could eat it on a hot day, I've never been disappointed by a stop in at Mr. Eds. Been going since I was a kid and I'm over 50 now so my suggestion would be to stop in and see them soon!

Very good food, and very nice staff. They deserve a raise.
