Timpone's - Urbana

We reached out to Timpone on Tuesday to inquire about making reservations for a small wedding ceremony and dinner for about 20 people that Friday. The manager was very accommodating and informed us that we would need to share the space, but he was confident he could make it work on short notice. The restaurant adjusted their setup to provide a private area for our group in the Tuscany room. We had only two staff members with us, and they were exceptional—both patient and attentive. The atmosphere for our intimate wedding with our closest friends was truly romantic. Timpone excelled in every aspect of the dining experience, from the presentation and timing to the quality and portions of the food. Many of our guests were thoroughly impressed with the restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to assist us and were kind enough to allow us to linger a bit longer than usual, all while wearing smiles. While Timpone may not typically host weddings, they treated ours with the professionalism of a dedicated wedding venue. We highly recommend Timpone for their outstanding food and impeccable service.

This restaurant offers incredibly thin crust pizza and outstanding house-made sausage. The smoked duck pizza is a must-try. They also serve excellent risotto and a variety of fish dishes. You can choose from options like flank steak, short ribs, leg of lamb, and duck breast. The menu changes regularly, but a favorite salad is the goat cheese and arugula endive salad. Typically, they have a bistro salad featuring egg, asparagus, endive, greens, and a mustard vinaigrette, which is hearty enough to serve as a meal for just $12. The team here knows their craft and executes it beautifully. While many restaurants struggle with staff retention, Timpones has dedicated professionals. You can either sit at the bar or dress up and head upstairs for the same great menu. Don't miss it!
