Pizza Ranch - Urbandale

Good food. Ordered a pizza by choice to add to buffet. Good service.

Not a good experience. The lady working the counter was rude and not friendly. The restaurant and seating area were not clean. Most importantly the food was not good. Very few selections on the pizza buffet, the chicken was old and dry, and the Mac n Cheese had a crusty layer on top. We were there at about 3:30PM and the lady (seemed to be the manager) said they were getting ready for the dinner crowd while vacuuming around our feet. I have been to various Pizza Ranch buffets dozens of times and this experience definitely did not meet their usual standards. Go to the Indianola store instead.

First time being at one of their restaurants I wasn't impressed. I had ordered a delivery one time and Ivdidnt like it at all ordered 8pc fried chicken and bended up throwing it away. After giving the Second experience I think I will completely pass on their chain altogether.

I recommend the Tuscan Roma thin crust pizza. It has Alfredo sauce, spinach, sliced Roma tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. Vegetarian options: You can tell them a pizza you would like them to make, then they will serve it up at your table. Kid-friendliness: They have a night when kids eat for free.

I am really disappointed I eat at this pizza ranch all the time but decided this week that I would get things to go, twice! Both times cheese Stix was over done no extra cheese. Pizza didn't have hardly any chicken on it and was over done. The biscuit is way over done. I don't even want to eat this meal and I spent over $50 there this week alone! Not happy to say the least!
