Hog's Breath Cafe - Urraween

I am a regular diner at the Hervey Bay Restaurant. The food and service is always second to none, and we are never disappointed. Great place for a major chain group

We kind of stick to what we like to eat, so why not go to Hogsbreath while visiting Hervey Bay. Entree Potato Skins probably best we had but everything else below standard unfortunately. My lite Mushroom steak was fatty and gritty and I asked for extra sauce which didn't come with the meal and wasn't delivered until most of my food was eaten. Took forever for someone to bring and take the dessert order also.

The service food and ambience all below par for the prices charged for a poor quality meal. The parking is inadequate if in wet weather as the neighbours are all take away

The staff at Hogs are super friendly, I did not see one member without a smile on their face. They would go out of their way to make sure you are feeling comfortable. Although the food is expensive it is worth it.

The advertising on TV worked so we found ourselves at this eatery , I like the consistency of places like this because you can come back again and again and you know it will be as good as the last visit . This was our first visit and fair to say I will not be returning there in a hurry . I went for the $19,99 steak offer now normally I have my steaks medium rare but if it's s rib fillet I'll go medium well because it's a fatty cut at the best of times , I was shocked to seed a 1 cm thick steak in front of me when it was served ,we sent the corn cobs back because they weren't cooked enough and I must also say it was an ordinary experience and quite costly for what you got , hogs breath cafe really nothing but a glorified McDonald's , very disappointed
