Mary Ryan's Bookshop & Cafe - Urraween

Mary Ryan's staff are very pleasant and efficient, orders arrive in a timely manner, the food is really good and really well priced, and it's much quieter due to being a bookshop as well. Always a great read to be found, it's just such a nice atmosphere. I go here to get some work done, or read, or have a cuppa with a friend and I love it.

I have always been a fan of the concept of Mary Ryan Bookshops, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, browse the latest books, and relax. During our visit, we sat inside the store, ordered some coffee, and indulged in some delicious sweets. The service was friendly and efficient, even with the busy crowd. We noticed locals gathering in small groups to play scrabble and enjoy a cup of coffee. Mary Ryan's Bookshop has moved from Pialba to its new location on the Esplanade in Torquay. There is parking available in front of the store or at the back of the building complex, and the location is perfect for a visit to the beach just across the road.

This is a delightful place to visit for coffee and books. The service is great and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. A must-visit spot in the Bay area.
